Clarida, Harker, and Bostic are some of the Fed officials scheduled to speak publicly. So is Bank of Canada Governor Poloz.

Purchasing Manager Surveys Being Released: Covered economic sectors will be U.S. non-manufacturing, Japanese and Australian services, German construction, and non-oil activity in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Scheduled U.S. Statistical Releases: Consumer prices, real wage earnings, factory orders, small business sentiment, employment trends index, JOLTS index of job offers and separations, the federal monthly budget, the trade deficit, and weekly jobless insurance claims, mortgage applications, energy inventories, consumer comfort, and chain store sales.

Euroland: Retail sales, economic sentiment (including industrial and consumer confidence), revised consumer prices, unemployment, and Sentix measure of investor sentiment.

Members of the Euro Area: German industrial orders, industrial production, current account, retail sales, and trade balance. French current account, trade balance, industrial production, business sentiment and consumer confidence. Italian CPI, retail sales, unemployment, and industrial production.
