Central Banks: The Federal Reserve, Bank of England, and Bank of Japan lead a list of central banks reviewing monetary policy next week that also includes centrals in India, the Czech Republic, Sri Lanka, Brazil, and Mexico. An updated BOJ Outlook will be published, and Governor Kuroda will  hold a press conference. Governor Carney of the Bank of England also will hold a press briefing, but only an FOMC statement will be forthcoming in the U.S. case.

Holiday: Swiss National Day on Wednesday.

Purchasing Managers Surveys: Manufacturing surveys to be reported Wednesday for more than 30 economies. Swiss manufacturing PMI and British construction PMI are due Thursday. Private sector PMIs due Friday for South Africa, Lebanon, and Singapore, plus a number of service-sector PMIs, too.

Selected U.S. Statistical Releases: Personal income and spending, employee cost index, Case-Shiller house price index, pending home sales, construction spending, Conference Board consumer confidence index, Dallas Fed manufacturing index, Chicago regional PMI, New York regional PMI (NAPM), ADP estimate of private jobs created, monthly trade balance, factory orders, motor vehicle sales, nonfarm payroll employment, unemployment rate, and average hourly earnings. Also weekly jobless insurance claims, consumer comfort, chain store sales, mortgage applications, and energy inventories.

Japanese Data: Retail sales, unemployment, industrial production, housing starts, construction orders, auto production and sales, consumer confidence, and the monetary base.

Selected Other Asian Statistics: Malaysian and Thai trade balances. South Korean, Indonesian, and Thai consumer prices. Malaysian and Filipino producer prices. South Korea’s current account and Hong Kong retail sales.

Euroland: Business sentiment, consumer confidence, producer prices, and retail sales.

Members of the Euro Area: German, French, Spanish, Italian, Cypriot, and Greek consumer prices. German, Italian, Spanish, Belgian and Austrian GDP. German, Italian, Portuguese, and Greek retail sales. German, Italian, Austrian and Irish unemployment. Greek, Austrian and Cypriot producer prices. German, Portuguese, Cypriot and Italian industrial production. Spain’s current account and French consumer spending.

U.K. and Switzerland: British money growth, mortgage approvals, shop prices and Nationwide house price index. Swiss retail sales, consumer prices and retail sales.

Eastern Europe: Hungarian and Romanian retail sales and producer prices. Poland’s CPI and Hungary’s trade balance.

Nordic Europe: Norwegian and Danish unemployment. Norwegian retail sales, Finland’s trade balance, and Swedish GDP.

Australia and New Zealand: Australian money and domestic credit growth, building permits, trade balance, retail sales, and new auto sales. New Zealand business sentiment and quarterly unemployment and labor costs.

South Africa and Turkey: South African money and credit expansion. Turkey’s CPI, PPI, and trade balance.

Canadian Releases: The trade balance, PPI, raw materials price index, monthly GDP, and IVEY-PMI index.

Mexico and Brazil: Mexican GDP and consumer confidence. Brazilian unemployment, trade balance, PPI and industrial output.
