Central Banks: The Bank of Korea and Bank of Canada will be conducting reviews of monetary policy. Federal Reserve Chairman Warsh testifies on monetary policy and the U.S. economy before the House Banking Committee on Tuesday and the Senate Financial Services Committee on Wednesday. The Fed Beige Book and Bank of Canada Monetary Policy Report get published.

Holidays and Special Events: France’s Bastille Day falls on Tuesday. A monthly OPEC report will be released that same day.

Scheduled U.S. Data Releases: Consumer prices, producer prices, import prices, retail sales, industrial production, capacity usage, small business sentiment, the Philly Fed and Empire State manufacturing surveys, the NAHB housing index, new home sales, pending home sales, housing starts, building permits, Treasury-compiled capital flows, and the U. Michigan consumer sentiment index. Weekly energy inventories, chain store sales, jobless insurance claims and mortgage applications.

Chinese and Japanese Releases: Chinese GDP, retail sales, industrial production, money growth, bank lending, trade surplus, fixed asset investment, property prices and unemployment. Japanese machinery orders, industrial production, capacity usage, and tertiary index.

Selected Other Asian Releases: Indian CPI, WPI and trade balance. Malaysian CPI and Hong Kong jobless rate. South Korean import prices, export prices and unemployment. Singaporean GDP and trade balance.

Euroland Releases: Current account, trade balance, CPI, industrial production, ZEW index of investor sentiment, and index of leading economic indicators.

Members of the Euro Area: Spanish, Italian, Austrian, Slovakian, Croatian, Slovenian, and Finnish consumer prices. Dutch, Belgian and Italian trade balances. German wholesale prices, current account and ZEW expectations index.  French index of leading economic indicators and Irish construction purchasing managers survey. Dutch unemployment, Italian construction output and Finnish current account.

U.K. and Switzerland: British industrial production, construction output, same store sales, monthly GDP, and index of leading economic indicators. Swiss PPI and import prices.

Eastern and Nordic Europe: Swedish, Romanian, Polish and Bulgarian consumer prices. Romanian industrial production, Czech PPI and Russian trade balance.

Australia, New Zealand and Turkey: Australian consumer confidence, business confidence, business conditions and index of leading economic indicators. Turkish current account and retail sales. New Zealand food prices.

Canada, Brazil and Mexico: Canadian manufacturing shipments and orders. Brazilian and Mexican indices of leading economic indicators. Brazilian retail sales.
