Michigan consumer confidence indices, and the advance merchandise trade deficit. Weekly jobless insurance claims, energy inventories, chain store sales, and mortgage applications.

Japan and China: Japanese industrial production, unemployment, retail sales, housing starts, construction output, Tokyo CPI, corporate service prices and index of leading economic indicators. Chinese corporate profits and index of leading economic indicators.

Selected Releases from Other Asia: Trade balances of Hong Kong and Thailand and Indian current account. Malaysian and Singaporean consumer prices and producer prices.
