Central Banks:  Monetary policy reviews are scheduled in Thailand, Sweden and Hungary. The Bank of Japan will be publishing its quarterly Tankan survey of corporate conditions and expectations, as well as a summary of its most recent Board meeting. Bank of Governor Bailey speaks publicly.

Holiday and Events: The annual summit of G7 leaders will take place in Schloss Elmau, German from June 26 to June 28. Canadians will be celebrating Canada Day on July 1, which also will mark the start of a new calendar quarter and the start of the Czech Republic’s six-month turn holding the EU presidency.

Manufacturing Purchasing Manager Surveys: for a slew of economies, including Austria, Australia, China, India, Ireland, the Philippines, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, India, Russian, the Netherlands, Poland, Turkey, Spain, the Czech Republic, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Brazil, Euroland, Mexico, Denmark, Hungary, South Africa, Norway, and the United States.

U.S. Economic Data Releases: Quarterly GDP, and monthly personal income, personal consumption, PCE price deflator, construction spending, pending home sales, FHFA and Case Shiller house price indices, consumer confidence, durable goods orders, advanced trade balance, and the Dallas Fed and Richmond Fed manufacturing indices. Weekly jobless insurance claims, chain store sales, mortgage applications and energy inventories.

Japanese and Chinese Releases: Japanese retail sales, industrial production, unemployment, housing starts, construction orders, consumer confidence, Tokyo consumer prices, and index of leading economic indicators. Chinese corporate earnings and index of leading economic indicators.
