Central Banks: There are scheduled monetary policy reviews next week in Indonesia and China. Minutes from the last Reserve Bank of Australia board meeting will be published, and so will the Federal Reserve’s Beige Book of regional economic conditions.

Holidays and Events: Easter Monday will be observed in several countries, including Great Britain, Germany, France, Italy, Canada, Switzerland and New Zealand. IMF/World Bank meetings will be held all week in Washington, D.C..

Scheduled U.S. Economic Releases: Housing starts, building permits, the National Association of Home builders housing market index, the Philly Fed manufacturing survey, the index of leading economic indicators and preliminary IHS-compiled  purchasing manager survey results. Also weekly jobless insurance claims, chain store sales, mortgage applications and energy inventories.

Japanese and Chinese Releases: Japanese industrial production, capacity usage, customs trade balance, tertiary index and preliminary PMI results. Chinese quarter GDP and monthly unemployment, retail sales, industrial production and fixed asset investment.

Other Asia: Thai, Indonesian, and Malaysian trade balances: Malaysian and Hong Kong consumer prices. Hong Kong business confidence, Singaporean industrial production, Taiwanese unemployment, and Indian wholesale prices.

Euroland Releases: Preliminary PMI results, car sales, industrial production, consumer prices, current account and trade balance.

Members of the Euro Area: German and French preliminary PMI results. French, Spanish and Italian trade balances. Portuguese and Irish producer prices. Italian, Portuguese and Greek current accounts. French business confidence.

U.K. and Switzerland: British surveys of industrial trends and distributive trades, the Rightmove house price index, consumer confidence, preliminary PMI survey results, and retail sales. Switzerland’s trade balance.

Nordic Europe: Danish producer prices and consumer confidences. Norway’s trade balance.

Eastern Europe: Czech and Russian producer prices. Polish CPI, retail sales and current account.

Australian and New Zealand releases: Australian retail sales, consumer confidence, preliminary purchasing manager indices, and index of leading economic indicators. New Zealand quarterly CPI and monthly services PMI.

South Africa and Turkey: South African consumer prices and Turkish consumer confidence.

Canada and Mexico: Canadian CPI, PPI, and retail sales. Mexican index of leading economic indicators.
