Central Banks: Monetary policy meetings are scheduled in Turkey, South Africa, Iceland, Indonesia, Hungary and the Philippines. Minutes from the Reserve Bank of Australia’s last policy meeting will be published, and RBA Governor Lowe will be speaking.

Scheduled U.S. Economic Data Releases: Retail sales, industrial production, housing starts, building permits, import prices, the NAHB housing market index, capacity utilization, Treasury-compiled capital flows, and the Empire State, Philly Fed and Kansas City Fed manufacturing surveys. Weekly jobless insurance claims, chain store sales, consumer comfort, energy inventories and mortgage applications.

Japanese and Chinese Data: Japanese 3Q GDP. Monthly customs trade, consumer prices, tertiary index, machinery orders, revised industrial production, and capacity utilization. Chinese industrial production, retail sales, fixed asset investment, capacity usage, unemployment, foreign direct investment and property prices.

Selected Other Asian Releases: South Korean, Indonesian and Indian trade balances. Taiwanese and Indonesian current accounts. Indian wholesale prices, South Korean PPI, and Filipino retail prices. Hong Kong unemployment and Thai GDP.

Euroland Releases: Quarterly GDP and employment growth. Monthly current account, trade balance, CPI, construction output, and index of leading economic indicators.

Members of the Euro Area: German, Irish and Portuguese producer prices. German and French indices of leading economic indicators. Finnish, Cypriot, and Dutch GDP. Italian, Irish, Belgian, and Dutch trade balances. French and Greek unemployment. French, Italian, and Finnish consumer prices. German car sales and French business sentiment. Dutch household consumption.

U.K. and Switzerland: British labor market statistics, CPI, PPI, DCLG house price inflation, car sales, consumer confidence, retail sales, public sector net borrowing and index of leading economic indicators. Swiss industrial production and trade balance.

Nordic Europe: Norwegian balance of trade and consumer confidence. Norwegian and Danish GDP. Swedish CPI, capacity utilization and unemployment.

Eastern Europe: Russian, Hungarian and Romanian GDP. Polish current account and CPI. Czech PPI.

Australian, New Zealand and South African Releases: Australia’s quarterly wage cost index. New Zealand quarterly PPI and monthly service sector purchasing managers index and home prices. South African CPI, retail sales, and business confidence.

Canada and Mexico: Canadian retail sales, CPI, housing starts, home prices and survey of manufacturing sales, orders, and inventories. Mexico’s index of leading economic indicators.
