Central Banks: Monetary policy reviews are scheduled next week in Indonesia, Turkey, Ukraine, Hungary, and Russia. Also, the People’s Bank of China will set its loan prime rates for the coming month, and the Federal Reserve Beige Book and minutes of the last Reserve Bank of Australia policy meeting will be published. RBA Governor Lowe and European Central Bank President Lowe will be speaking publicly.

Holidays and Events: Indonesia’s Mawlid holiday falls mid-week, and the IMF/World Bank semi-annual meetings wrap up this weekend.

Scheduled U.S. Economic Data Releases: Quarterly employment cost index. Monthly industrial production, capacity utilization, housing starts, existing home sales, building permits, National Association of Home Builders housing market index, IHS-compiled PMI, Philly Fed manufacturing index, Treasury-compiled capital flows, and index of leading economic indicators. Weekly jobless insurance claims, chain store sales, consumer comfort, energy inventories, and mortgage applications.

Japanese and Chinese Data: Japanese customs trade, consumer prices and preliminary purchasing managers monthly survey. Chinese third-quarter GDP growth and monthly retail sales, industrial production, unemployment, fixed asset investment, housing prices, capacity usage, and index of leading economic indicators.

Selected Other Asian Releases: Thai and Singaporean trade balances. Hong Kong CPI, unemployment, and business confidence. South Korean producer prices.

Euroland Releases: Preliminary purchasing managers survey, consumer confidence, and construction output.

Members of the Euro Area: German and French PMI surveys. German, Italian, Irish, and Portuguese producer prices. German, Austrian, and Cypriot consumer prices. Italian, Greek and Portuguese current accounts. Belgian and Dutch consumer confidence and Dutch household consumption. French business confidence and Italian manufacturing sales. Finnish GDP and unemployment.

U.K. and Switzerland: British PMI survey, retail sales, consumer confidence, CPI, PPI, DCLG house price index, industrial trends survey, Rightmove house price index, and public sector net borrowing. Switzerland’s trade balance.

Nordic Europe: Danish consumer confidence, Icelandic CPI, and Norwegian business confidence.

Eastern Europe: Czech, Russian, and Polish producer prices. Polish retail sales, unemployment, industrial production, consumer prices and current account. Russian GDP.

Australian and New Zealand Data: Australian PMI, business confidence and index of leading economic indicators. New Zealand services purchasing managers index and consumer prices.

Canadian Releases: Quarterly business outlook survey. Monthly retail sales, CPI, and survey of manufacturing sales, orders and inventories.
