Central Banks: Monetary policy reviews are scheduled next week in India, Australia, and Israel.

Holidays: On Monday, Americans will be observing Memorial Day, and British markets will be shut for the late spring bank holiday. Pancasila Day falls on Tuesday in Indonesia, and Republic Day in Italy falls on Wednesday. Austria and Brazil are some of the countries observing Corpus Christi on Thursday.

May PMI Releases: More than 75 purchasing managers surveys will be published during the week, covering manufacturing, service sector activity, and construction. There’s something getting released every day of the week.

Scheduled U.S. Economic Data Releases: Quarterly productivity and unit labor costs. Monthly factory orders, construction spending, IBD/TIPP investor optimism, motor vehicle sales, Dallas Fed manufacturing survey, ADP estimate of private sector job creation, and the Labor Department’s employment situation (including the jobless rate, non-farm payroll jobs, and hourly wage earnings). Weekly mortgage applications, consumer comfort, chain store sales, energy inventories and jobless insurance claims.

Japanese Data: Retail sales, industrial production, housing starts, construction orders, consumer confidence and quarterly business investment.

Other Asian Releases: South Korean and Thai industrial production. Retail sales in Hong Kong, Singapore, and South Korea. South Korean and Indonesian consumer prices. Thai and Filipino consumer confidence. Malaysian and Filipino producer prices. Thai business confidence and current account. Indian, South Korean and Thai trade balances. Indian GDP and Filipino unemployment.

Euroland Releases: CPI, PPI, unemployment, retail sales and money and credit growth.

Members of the Euro Area: German, Portuguese, Cypriot, Italian and Spanish consumer prices. Belgian, Italian, Irish, Portuguese, Austrian, and Greek GDP. German, French, Dutch, Greek, and Belgian retail sales. Finnish trade balance and Spanish current account. Austrian and Irish unemployment. Belgian PPI and Irish construction output.

U.K. and Switzerland: British mortgage applications, consumer credit, money and credit growth, Nationwide house price index, and new auto sales. Swiss GDP and retail sales.

Nordic Europe: Norwegian and Swedish current accounts. Danish and Icelandic GDP. Danish unemployment.

Eastern Europe: Czech, Hungarian, and Polish GDP. Polish, Hungarian and Russian retail sales. Hungarian producer prices and trade balance. Russian business confidence.

Australia and South Africa: Australian and South African trade balances, M3 money, and private credit growth. Australian GDP, building permits, current account, and corporate profits. South African retail sales and unemployment.

New Zealand and Turkey: New Zealand import prices, export prices and business confidence. Turkish GDP.

Canadian Releases: Quarterly GDP, current account, productivity, and unit labor costs. Monthly PPI, building permits, IVEY PMI, unemployment, employment, and average wage earnings.

Brazil and Mexico: Brazilian GDP, industrial production, PPI, and trade balance. Mexican business confidence.
