Central Banks: There are scheduled monetary policy meetings in Mexico, Thailand, Great Britain, and the Czech Republic, but in the current environment, unscheduled emergency central bank meetings are likely to remain as prevalent as one’s that have been planned in advance. St. Louis Fed President Bullard, ECB President Lagarde, and Bank of England Governor Bailey will be speaking publicly. Minutes will be published from the Bank of Japan’s January Board meeting and the last scheduled policy review in Brazil. Germany’s constitutional court is expected to hand down a ruling Tuesday regarding the legality of quantitative stimulus by the European Central Bank.

U.S. Economic Statistical Releases: Quarterly GDP. Monthly new home sales, Case Shiller house prices, FHFA house price index, advance trade balance, Richmond and Kansas City manufacturing indices, Chicago Fed National Activity index, durable goods orders, personal income and spending, PCE price deflator, and U. Michigan consumer confidence index. Weekly jobless insurance claims, mortgage applications, chain store sales, consumer comfort, and energy inventories. All primaries scheduled for the coming week have been postponed.

Euroland Data: Money and credit growth, consumer confidence, and preliminary results of March purchasing manager surveys.

Members of the Euro Area: German and French PMIs. German, French, Italian, and Finnish consumer confidence. Italian, French and Belgian business sentiment. German and Irish retail sales. Spanish and Finnish producer prices. Dutch GDP and current account. Austrian manufacturing purchasing managers index and industrial production. Finnish unemployment.

U.K. and Switzerland: British CPI, RPI, PPI, ONS-compiled house prices, distributive trades survey, industrial trends survey, preliminary purchasing manager survey results, retail sales, and Nationwide house price index. Swiss current account, ZEW expectations index, KOF spring forecast, and M3 growth.

Nordic Europe: Danish and Swedish consumer confidence. Icelandic and Swedish producer prices. Norwegian and Swedish retail sales. Icelandic and Norwegian unemployment. Icelandic consumer prices and unemployment.

Eastern Europe: Polish and Hungarian unemployment. Czech consumer confidence and business sentiment. Hungarian current account.

Japanese and Chinese Data: Japanese supermarket and department store sales, corporate service prices, Tokyo consumer prices, machine tool orders, preliminary purchasing manager surveys, and index of leading economic indicators. Chinese current account, corporate profits, and index of leading economic indicators.

Selected Other Asian Releases: Malaysian, Singaporean and Hong Kong consumer prices. Hong Kong and Singaporean industrial production. Hong Kong’s current account and trade balance. South Korean consumer confidence, Singaporean producer prices, and India’s index of leading economic indicators.

Australia and New Zealand: Australian preliminary PMI surveys and index of leading economic indicators. New Zealand trade, business sentiment, and consumer confidence.

Turkey and South Africa: Turkish consumer confidence. South African producer prices and index of leading economic indicators.
