Central Banks: Monetary  policy meetings in Canada, Turkey, Poland, Israel, Serbia, Romania and Peru. FOMC minutes and Bank of Canada Monetary Policy Report will be published. Clarida, Harker, and Bostic are some of the Fed officials scheduled to speak publicly. So is Bank of Canada Governor Poloz.

Purchasing Manager Surveys Being Released: Covered economic sectors will be U.S. non-manufacturing, Japanese and Australian services, German construction, and non-oil activity in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Scheduled U.S. Statistical Releases: Consumer prices, real wage earnings, factory orders, small business sentiment, employment trends index, JOLTS index of job offers and separations, the federal monthly budget, the trade deficit, and weekly jobless insurance claims, mortgage applications, energy inventories, consumer comfort, and chain store sales.

Euroland: Retail sales, economic sentiment (including industrial and consumer confidence), revised consumer prices, unemployment, and Sentix measure of investor sentiment.

Members of the Euro Area: German industrial orders, industrial production, current account, retail sales, and trade balance. French current account, trade balance, industrial production, business sentiment and consumer confidence. Italian CPI, retail sales, unemployment, and industrial production. Spanish consumer prices, industrial output, and business confidence. Greek, Irish, and Finnish industrial production. Portuguese, Austrian, Finnish, Greek and Cypriot trade balances. Irish retail sales, Austrian wholesale prices, and Dutch consumer prices. Greek CPI, import prices, and unemployment.

U.K. and Switzerland: British quarterly GDP, monthly GDP, industrial production, same-store sales, Halifax house price index, construction output and trade balance. Swiss CPI, retail sales and unemployment.

Japanese and Chinese Data: Japanese motor vehicle sales, household spending, labor cash earnings, monetary base, consumer confidence, current account, bank lending, economy watchers index, and index of leading economic indicators. Chinese consumer prices, producer prices, money and bank lending growth, fixed asset investment, foreign direct investment, retail sales, foreign exchange reserves, and industrial production.
