Special Event: British Prime minister resigns on Monday and will be succeeded by the new Labour Party leader Andy Burnham. The new full cabinet will be revealed.
U.S. Economic Data Releases: Preliminary July purchasing manager survey results, Chicago Fed National Activity Index, new home saless, consumer confidence, Kansas City Fed manufacturing survey, and indices of U.S. leading and coincident economic indicators. Weekly jobless insurance claims, mortgage applications, energy inventories and chain store sales.
Japanese and Chinese Releases: Japanese trade balance, consumer prices and preliminary PMI survey results. Chinese foreign direct investment and index of leading economic indicators.
