Central Banks: Interest rate policies will be reviewed in Poland, Serbia and South Korea. The Federal Reserve’s Beige Book of recent regional economic conditions since the last FOMC meeting arrives on Wednesday, and a slew of Fed officials will be making public comments during the upcoming period, including Williams, Bostic, Schmid, Bostic, Barkin, Paulson, Musalem, Kashkari, Bowman, Miran, and Jefferson. Guindos of the European Central Bank and Ramsden and Taylor of the Bank of England also have speaking engagements.

Holidays and Events: Japan’s Coming of Age Day falls on Monday. Phase 2 of Mynamar election is tomorrow.

Scheduled U.S. Data Releases: Consumer prices, producer prices, import prices, retail sales, industrial production, capacity usage, existing home sales, new home sales, the NAHB housing market index, the Philly Fed and Empire State manufacturing surveys, the NFIB-compiled small business sentiment index, the RMB/TIPP optimism index, and Treasury-compiled capital flows between the U.S. and other economies. Weekly jobless insurance claims, energy inventories, chain store sales and mortgage applications.

Japanese and Chinese Releases: Producer prices, import prices, bank lending, the current account, machinery orders, machine tool orders, and the tertiary index. Chinese trade balance, motor vehicle sales, and money growth.

Selected Other Asian Releases: Indian CPI, trade balance, wholesale prices and jobless rate. Indonesian retail sales, Singaporean trade balance and South Korean import prices.

Euroland Releases: Industrial production, trade balance, construction output, and Sentix measure of investor sentiment.

Members of the Euro Area: German PPI, current account and GDP growth in 2025. German, French, Spanish, Italian, Finnish, Croatian, Irish, and Portuguese consumer prices. Dutch and Italian trade balances. Irish retail sales and construction purchasing managers survey. Italian industrial production and Irish retail sales.

British Releases: Monthly GDP, industrial production, construction output, trade balance, labor market statistics, same store sales, RICS house price balance index and index of leading economic indicators.

Nordic Europe: Danish current account and PPI. Swedish CPI and Norwegian trade balance.

Eastern Europe: Hungarian, Bulgarian, Romanian, Polish and Russian consumer prices. Czech and Croatian produer prices. Polish current account, Hungarian industrial production, and Czech retail sales.

Australia, New Zealand and Turkey: Australian employment, unemployment, business confidence, business conditions, household spending, consumer confidence and index of leading economic indicators. Australian and New Zealand building permits. New Zealand food prices and manufacturing purchasing managers survey. Turkish retail sales and current account.

Canada and Brazil: Canadian housing starts. Brazilian retail sales, PPI and index of leading economic indicators.
