Central Banks: A thick calendar of central bank meetings includes the Federal Reserve, Bank of Japan, Bank of England, People’s Bank of China, Swedish Riksbank, Bank of Korea, Bank Indonesia, Bank of Norway, Central Bank of Brazil, Central Bank of the Republic of China (Taiwan), Central Bank of Turkey, Central Bank of the Philippines, and the Swiss National Bank. The FOMC will release updated forecasts. Fed Chairman Powell, BOE Governor Bailey, and BOJ Governor Ueda will hold post-meeting press conferences. ECB Governor Lagarde and a slew of other ECB Governing Council members will be speaking publicly next week. Reserve Bank of Australia minutes get published.

Holiday and Event: Japan is closed Monday in observance of Respect for the Aged Day. EU finance ministers meet on Saturday.

Scheduled U.S. Releases: The S&P Global preliminary purchasing manager survey results (PMI), existing home sales, housing starts, building permits, the NAHB housing market index, the quarterly current account, Philly Fed regional survey of manufacturers, Treasury-compiled capital flows, and the index of leading economic indicators. Weekly jobless insurance claims, chain store sales, energy inventories, and mortgage applications.

Euroland Releases: Final CPI estimate, new car sales, construction output, current account, consumer confidence, and preliminary PMI.

Members of the Euro Area: German and French preliminary PMI surveys. German, Portuguese, and Irish producer prices. Greek and Italian current accounts. Austrian and Cypriot consumer prices. Dutch and Belgian consumer confidence. Dutch GDP and unemployment. French business confidence and index of leading economic indicators. Spanish GDP.

U.K. and Switzerland: British CPI, PPI, RPI, consumer confidence, preliminary PMI findings, industrial trends survey and retail sales. Swiss trade balance.

Nordic Europe: Swedish unemployment and Icelandic consumer prices. Danish consumer sentiment.

Eastern Europe: Polish, Czech, Russian, Slovenian, and Latvian producer prices. Polish unemployment and Slovakian consumer prices.

Japanese Releases: Preliminary PMI results, customs trade balance and consumer prices.
