Central Banks: Interest rate policies will be reviewed in Turkey, Russia, South Africa and China. Minutes of the Reserve Bank of Australia’s policymakers meeting earlier this month will be published.

Special Event: A meeting of G20 finance ministers and central bank governors will take place in India on Monday and Tuesday.

U.S. Scheduled Data Releases: Retail sales, industrial production, capacity use, housing starts, building permits, existing home sales, National Association of Home Builders housing index, Empire State and Philly Fed manufacturing sector surveys, Treasury-compiled capital flows, and index of leading economic indicators. Also weekly jobless insurance claims, mortgage applications, chain store sales, and energy inventories.

Japanese and Chinese Data: Japanese consumer prices, trade balance and tertiary index. Chinese second-quarter GDP and monthly retail sales, industrial production, foreign direct investment, fixed asset investment, and unemployment.

U.K. and Switzerland: British CPI, PPI, consumer confidence, retail sales, Rightmove house price index and public sector net borrowing. Swiss trade balance.

Eastern Europe: Polish and Bulgarian consumer prices. Czech and Russian producer prices.

Nordic Europe: Danish producer prices.

Australia and New Zealand: Australian labor market statistics and Westpac’s index of leading economic indicators. New Zealand service sector purchasing managers survey and quarterly CPI figures.

South Africa and Turkey: South African CPI and retail sales. Turkish consumer sentiment.

Canadian and Mexican Releases: Canadian CPI, PPI, retail sales, and housing prices. Mexican retail sales and index of leading economic indicators.
