Central Banks: Monetary policies will be reviewed at the European Central Bank, Bank of England, Central Bank of Brazil, Czech National Bank and Reserve Bank of Australia. Governor Lowe of  the RBA, ECB President Lagarde and BOE Governor Bailey will hold press conference. The quarterly RBA Monetary Statement will be published.

Events and Holidays: OPEC oil ministers will be meeting at midweek. The Chinese Lunar New Year holiday, ushering in the year of the tiger begins on Tuesday and result in multiple daily closures in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

January Purchasing Managers Surveys: Manufacturing surveys for Vietnam, Austria, and Taiwan have already been report. Many more will be released next week, covering manufacturing, services, construction and non-oil economic activity. At least one PMI survey will be released each day of the period.

U.S. Economic Statistical Releases: Quarterly productivity and unit labor costs: Monthly employment situation, ADP estimate of private sector jobs growth, motor vehicle sales, JOLTs index, Dallas Fed manufacturing index, and Chicago regional PMI. Weekly jobless insurance claims, mortgage applications, energy inventories and chain store sales.

Japanese Data: Industrial production, retail sales, consumer confidence, housing starts, construction orders, unemployment, and monetary base.

Other Selected Asian Releases: Retail sales from Singapore and Hong Kong. Thai and Indonesian consumer prices. South Korean and Indian trade balances. Filipino PPI and Thai consumer confidence.

Euroland Data: Quarterly GDP. Monthly CPI, PPI, retail sales and auto sales.

Members of the Euro Area: Italian, Austrian, and Portuguese GDP. German, Italian, Spanish, French, and Portuguese consumer prices. Belgian and Cypriot PPI. Irish, Italian, Spanish, German, and Austrian unemployment. Dutch, Greek, Belgian, Austrian, German, Spanish, and French retail sales. Spanish consumer confidence and current account.

U.K. and Switzerland: British shop prices, Nationwide house price index, money growth, mortgage approvals, and consumer credit. Swiss retail sales and consumer confidence.

Eastern Europe: Russian, Polish, and Czech GDP. Polish and Hungarian retail sales. Hungarian PPI and industrial production. Polish unemployment.

Australia and New Zealand: Australian and New Zealand building permits and trade balances. Australian money and credit growth, retail sales and home loans. New Zealand quarterly labor market statistics.

South Africa and Turkey: South African and Turkish trade balances. Turkish CPI and PPI.

Canadian Releases: Monthly labor market statistics, GDP, PPI, building permits and IVEY-PMI index.

Mexico and Brazil: Mexican GDP, business confidence and consumer sentiment. Brazilian CPI, PPI, industrial production and trade balance.
