Central Banks: Monetary policies will be reviewed in Canada, Serbia, Peru and at the European Central Bank. ECB President Lagarde, Bank of Canada Governor Macklem, Bank of England Governor Bailey, and Reserve Bank of Australia Governor Lowe are some of the central bankers speaking publicly next week.

Events and Holidays: The Chinese National People’s Congress runs through Wednesday with agenda items that include finalizing the 14th five-year plan and reconfiguring Hong Kong’s electoral system. There is a Hindu festival on Thursday and an Islamic holiday in Indonesia on Friday.

Japan and China: Japanese quarterly GDP and business sentiment. Monthly CPI, PPI, money growth and bank lending, current account, economy watchers index, machine tool orders, household spending, and labor cash earnings.

Selected Other Asian Releases: Malaysian, Indian, Philippine, and Hong Kong industrial production. Indian and Taiwanese consumer prices. Philippine and Taiwanese trade balances. Malaysian and Philippine unemployment. Taiwanese wholesale prices.

U.S. Economic Data Releases: Consumer prices, producer prices, employment trends index, real wage earnings, JOLTs index, U. Michigan consumer sentiment, and small business sentiment index. Weekly jobless insurance claims, consumer comfort, mortgage applications, energy inventories and chain store sales.

Euroland Data: Quarterly GDP and employment. Monthly industrial production, CPI and Sentix index of investor sentiment.

Members of the Euro Area: German current account, trade balance, CPI, and industrial output. French, Spanish, Greek, Dutch, Finnish, Irish, Belgian, and Italian industrial production. Greek, Portuguese, Austrian, Cypriot, Finnish, and Dutch trade balances. French, Spanish, and Portuguese consumer prices. Italian PPI, Finnish current account and nonfarm French jobs growth last quarter. Irish construction PMI and Greek GDP.

U.K. and Switzerland: British monthly GDP, trade balance, construction output, industrial production, same-store sales, and RICs house price balance index. Swiss unemployment and update of government macroeconomic forecasts.

Eastern Europe: Czech, Romanian, and Hungarian trade balances and industrial production. Polish industrial production, Romanian GDP, and Russian trade balance. Czech and Hungarian CPI.

Nordic Europe: Danish, Norwegian, and Swedish industrial production. Danish and Norwegian CPI. Danish and Swedish current accounts. Norwegian PPI and Swedish household consumption.

Australia and New Zealand: Australian Westpac consumer confidence, building permits and new home sales. New Zealand factory sales, business confidence food prices, and manufacturing PMI.

South Africa and Turkey: South African quarterly GDP and current account and monthly industrial production and business confidence. Turkish retail sales, industrial production and current account.

Canada, Mexico and Brazil: Canadian housing starts, unemployment rate, employment growth, and wage growth. Mexican CPI, industrial production and consumer confidence. Brazilian business confidence, CPI, and retail sales.
