Central Bank Beat:  Interest rate meetings in the United States, Switzerland, Indonesia, Thailand, Chile, and Japan.  Published minutes of past meetings in Australia and Japan.  BOJ Governor Kuroda and Fed Chair Yellen hold press conferences following meetings.

Ecofin Meeting: Finance ministers in the eurozone meet this weekend and early in the week.

Scheduled U.S. Data Releases:  Consumer prices, retail sales, industrial production, capacity usage, the Empire State and Philly Fed manufacturing indices, the National Association of Home Builders index, housing starts, building permits, the index of leading economic indicators and Treasury-compiled capital flows.  Also the quarterly current account and weekly jobless insurance claims, consumer comfort, energy inventories, mortgage applications and chain store sales.

Canada: Existing home sales, consumer prices, and manufacturing shipments and orders.

Latin America:  Mexico’s and Brazil’s indices of leading economic indicators.  Brazilian retail sales.

Euroland Statistics:  The current account, trade balance, CPI, labor costs, construction output, industrial production, Employment, car sales and ZEW expectations index.

Members of the Eurozone:  French, Austria, Finnis and Italian consumer prices, Dutch and Finnish retail sales, Portuguese producer prices, Italian and Finnish current accounts, Irish construction purchasing managers index, Finnish GDP and ZEW Institute index of investor sentiment toward Germany.

Great Britain and Switzerland:  U.K. retail sales, CPI, PPI, DCLG index of home prices, labor statistics, and CBI industrial trends survey results.  Swiss producer prices, import prices, ZEW index of investor sentiment, and retail sales.

Eastern Europe:  Polish industrial production, CPI, PPI, wages and current account.  Czech producer prices.

Nordic Europe:  Icelandic consumer prices, Danish producer prices and Norwegian trade balance.

Chinese Data:  Bank lending, money growth, industrial production, retail sales, fixed asset investment, direct investment, and property prices.

Japanese Data:  Revised industrial production, capacity usage, tertiary index, machine tool orders, department store sales, and customs trade figures.
