Central Banks: Monetary policy reviews in India and Poland. Minutes from last ECB and Reserve Bank of Australia Board meetings to be published. Many Fed officials have planned public speaking opportunities.

Holidays and Special Events: It’s the start of a new calendar quarter. Many markets will be closed for Easter Monday. Europe goes on daylight savings time on March 31. A meeting of OPEC and other oil producers is scheduled Thursday. The Canadian fiscal budget will be unveiled.

Purchasing Manager Surveys for March: get published for many countries. Multiple releases are scheduled each day.

Other U.S. Releases: Construction spending, factory orders, labor market statistics, motor vehicle sales, the goods and services trade deficit, and the JOLTS index. Weekly jobless insurance claims, energy inventories, chain store sales and mortgage applications.

Euroland Releases: Unemployment, producer prices, and retail sales.

Members of the Euro Area: German consumer prices, import prices and factory orders. Latvian, French and Spanish industrial production.  Italian unemployment, Cypriot CPI, and Dutch retail sales.

U.K. and Switzerland: British shop prices and the Nationwide and Halifax house price indices. Swiss retail sales and CPI.

Eastern Europe: Romanian and Hungarian retail sales. Romanian PPI and Russian GDP.

Japanese Releases: Household spending, international reserves, monetary base and index of leading economic indicators.

Other Asia: South Korean, Singaporean, and Filipino consumer prices. Singaporean retail sales and current account. South Korea’s trade balance.

Australia and Turkey: Australian retail sales and building permits. Australian and Turkish trade balances. Turkish CPI and PPI.

Canada, Mexico and Brazil: Canadian labor market statistics and IVEY-PMI survey. Mexican consumer confidence. Brazilian PPI.
