Central Banks: Monetary policies will be reviewed in Peru, Mexico, Serbia, Georgia and Malaysia. Bank of Japan Board minutes and Bank of Russia Monetary Report will be published. Lots of central bankers are scheduled to speak publicly during the week, including Williams, Kashkari, Waller, Mester, Daly and Bostic of the Federal Reserve; President Lagarde, VP Guindos, and ECB Board member Schnabel of the European Central Bank; Monetary Policy Committee member Saunders of the Bank of England; and Deputy Governor Bullock of the Reserve Bank of Australia.

Scheduled U.S. Economic Releases: CPI, PPI, import prices, small business sentiment, IBD/TIPP Optimism index, April federal budget, and Reuters/U. Michigan consumer confidence index. Also weekly jobless insurance claims, chain store sales, energy inventories, and mortgage applications.

Japanese and Chinese Releases: Japanese current account, service sector purchasing managers survey, reserves, household spending, bank lending, and average cash earnings. Chinese CPI, PPI, retail sales, industrial output, motor vehicle sales, trade balance, foreign direct investment, fixed asset investment, yuan lending and money growth.

Other Selected Asian Releases: Indonesian and Indian consumer prices. Indonesian, Malaysian, and Filipino GDP. South Korean and  Malaysian current accounts. Filipino, Hong Kong, and Indian industrial production. Taiwanese and Indian trade balances. South Korean unemployment, import prices and index of leading economic indicators. Indonesian retail sales.

Euroland Releases: Industrial production, ZEW expectations index, and Sentix measure of investor sentiment.

Members of the Euro Area: German, French, Irish, Greek, Dutch, Finnish, Spanish, and Portuguese consumer prices. Italian, Irish, Belgian, Austrian, Finnish and Greek industrial production. French and Portuguese trade balances. German ZEW expectations index and wholesale prices. French and German current accounts. Spanish index of leading economic indicators and Portuguese unemployment.

U.K. and Switzerland: British GDP, industrial production, construction output, trade balance, Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors’ housing market index, and same-store sales. Swiss producer prices and import prices.

Nordic European Releases: Danish, Norwegian and Swedish consumer prices. Norwegian GDP, PPI, and industrial production. Denmark’s current account.

Eastern Europe: Polish, Romanian, Hungarian, Czech and Russian consumer prices. Romanian, Czech and Russian trade balances. Czech and Hungarian industrial production. Czech unemployment and retail sales.

Australia and New Zealand: Australian new home sales, building permits, retail sales and consumer confidence. New Zealand food prices.

South Africa and Turkey: South African business confidence and factory output. Turkish retail sales, unemployment and industrial production.

Canada, Brazil and Mexico: Canadian building permits. Brazilian and Mexican consumer confidence. Brazilian retail sales, current account, business confidence. Mexican industrial production.
