Central Banks: Monetary policies will be reviewed in the Philippines and Turkey. Minutes of their last policy meetings will be published by the FOMC and Reserve Bank of Australia. Many central bankers are scheduled to speak publicly, including Mester, Bullard, Waller, and Williams of the Fed, Lagarde, Lane and Schaeble of the European Central Bank and Debelle and Bullock of the Reserve Bank of Australia.

Scheduled U.S. Data Releases: Producer prices, import prices, retail sales, industrial production, housing starts, building permits, the NAHB housing market index, existing home sales, capacity utilization, the Empire State and Philly Fed manufacturing surveys, Treasury-compiled international capital flows and the index of leading economic indicators. Also weekly jobless insurance claims, chain store sales, energy inventories and mortgage applications.

Japanese and Chinese Releases: Japanese quarterly GDP and monthly consumer prices, customs trade, industrial production, capacity usage, machinery orders and tertiary index of service sector activity. Chinese CPI, PPI, foreign direct investment, and motor vehicle sales.

Selected Other Asian Data: Taiwanese and Thai GDP. Indonesian and Indian trade balances. Indonesian retail sales and current account. Indian wholesale prices and consumer prices. South Korean import prices.

Euroland Releases: Quarterly GDP and employment growth. Monthly industrial production, current account, trade balance, auto sales, construction output, and ZEW index of investor expectations and perceived current conditions.

Members of the Euro Area: German ZEW expectations index. Dutch, Finnish, and Cypriot GDP. French, Irish, Greek and Spanish consumer prices. Spanish, and Italian trade balances. Italian current account and construction output. Portuguese PPI and industrial production. Greek unemployment and import prices. Irish construction purchasing managers survey. Belgian and Dutch consumer confidence.

U.K. and Switzerland: British quarterly productivity and monthly CPI, PPI, labor market statistics, retail sales, and index of leading economic indicators. Swiss PPI, import prices, ZEW expectations index, trade balance and industrial production.

Eastern Europe: Polish, Romanian, Hungarian and Russian GDP. Polish CPI and industrial production, Polish and Russian PPI.

Nordic Europe: Danish and Norwegian GDP and consumer confidence. Danish PPI and Swedish CPI.

Australia and New Zealand: Australian employment, unemployment, and index of leading economic indicators. New Zealand producer prices and service sector purchasing managers index.

South Africa and Turkey: South African CPI, WPI, retail sales, and housing permits. Turkish consumer sentiment.

Canada, Brazil and Mexico: Canadian CPI, retail sales, housing starts and new home prices. Brazilian and Mexican indices of leading economic indicators.
