Central Banks: Monetary policies will be reviewed in Sweden, New Zealand, South Africa, China, Israel, and Sri Lanka. Minutes from the last policy meetings of the FOMC and European Central Bank are to be published, as will Sweden’s Monetary Policy Report. Two central bankers speaking publicly will be Haskel of the Bank of England and Bullock from the Reserve Bank of Australia.

Holidays and Events: Japan observes Labor Thanksgiving on Tuesday, and the U.S. Thanksgiving Day holiday is on Thursday. Britain’s Chancellor of the Exchequer presents the Autumn Budget Statement on Wednesday.

Scheduled U.S. Economic Data Releases: Quarterly GDP. Monthly personal income and spending, PCE price deflator, Chicago Fed National Activity Index, Richmond Fed manufacturing survey, new home sales, existing home sales, durable goods orders, advance trade balance, and preliminary IHS-compiled purchasing manager surveys. Weekly jobless insurance claims, mortgage applications, chain store sales, consumer comfort and energy inventories.

Japanese and Chinese Releases: Japanese preliminary PMI results, corporate service prices, Tokyo consumer prices and index of leading economic indicators. Chinese corporate earnings and index of leading economic indicators.

Selected Other Asian Releases: Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysian consumer prices. South Korean manufacturers’ business sentiment and consumer confidence. Hong Kong and Singaporean industrial production. Singaporean GDP and producer prices. Hong Kong’s trade balance and Taiwanese retail sales.

Euroland: Preliminary PMI survey results and consumer confidence. Money and credit growth.

Members of the Euro Area: German IFO business climate and Italian, French, and Belgian business sentiment. German, French, Italian, Dutch, Belgian, and Irish consumer confidence. Spanish, Finnish and Irish PPI. German, French and Austrian GDP. Spanish trade balance, German import prices and Austrian manufacturing  purchasing managers survey.

British and Swiss Releases: British preliminary PMI survey results and the CBI monthly surveys of industrial trends and distributive trades. Swiss GDP and ZEW index of economic sentiment.

Eastern Europe: Russian and Czech business confidence. Russian and Polish producer prices and industrial production. Polish retail sales and Czech consumer confidence.

Nordic Europe: Norwegian unemployment and retail sales. Swedish PPI and Danish consumer sentiment.

Australia and New Zealand: Australian and New Zealand retail sales. Australian business investment, preliminary PMI survey findings, index of leading economic indicators, and construction work done. New Zealand trade balance.

Turkey and South Africa: Turkish consumer sentiment. South African PPI, business confidence and leading business cycle index.

Mexico and Brazil: Mexican and Brazilian current accounts. Mexican GDP, current account, balance of trade, and economic activity index. Brazilian consumer confidence.
