Federal Reserve Bank of NY District President Williams speaks publicly.

Event and Holidays: The German general election on September 26th will determine Chancellor Angela Merkel’s successor. The 72nd anniversary observance of the Communist ascension to power in China will begin on Friday.

Manufacturing Purchasing Manager Surveys: will be reported for Germany, the Czech Republic, Italy, France, Euroland, Denmark, Greece, Ireland, Great Britain, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Switzerland, Norway, Hungary, Sweden, the United States, Austria, Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, the Philippines, India, South Africa, Russia, Vietnam, Poland, the Netherlands, Spain and Turkey.

Scheduled U.S. Economic Data Releases: Quarterly 2Q GDP. Monthly personal income, personal spending, PCE price deflator, advance trade balance, consumer confidence, Dallas and Richmond Fed manufacturing indices, Case-Shiller and FHFA monthly house price indices, pending home sales, construction spending, durable goods orders and Chicago regional PMI.
