Central Banks: Monetary policies will be reviewed in Australia, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Ukraine and Poland. New York Fed President Williams speaks publicly, and the Fed Beige Book of U.S. regional economic conditions will be published.

Holiday: In South Korea, Independence Day falls on Monday.

Purchasing Manager Surveys: Surveys covering manufacturing, service sector activities, and construction will be released Monday through Thursday for a slew of economies.

Scheduled U.S. Data Releases: Quarterly productivity and unit labor costs. Monthly auto sales, construction spending, New York regional PMI, trade deficit, factory orders, IBD/TIPP optimism index, ADP estimate of private sector jobs and, most importantly, February Labor Department report on the employment situation. Weekly jobless insurance claims, consumer comfort, chain store sales, energy inventories, and mortgage applications.

Japanese Releases: Labor statistics, monetary base, consumer confidence, international reserves and quarterly business investment.

Selected Other Asian Releases: South Korean, Indonesian, and Philippine consumer prices. South Korean and Indian trade balances. Hong Kong retail sales and South Korean GDP.

Euroland Data Releases: Consumer prices, producer prices, retail sales, and unemployment.

Members of the Euro Area: German and Italian consumer prices. German, Italian, Irish, and Spanish unemployment. Irish, German, and Portuguese retail sales. Italian, Belgian, Greek and Portuguese GDP. French and Irish current accounts. German industrial orders and French trade balance.

U.K. and Switzerland: British shop prices, Nationwide and Halifax house price indices, consumer credit, mortgage approvals and money growth. Swiss CPI and retail sales.

Eastern Europe: Hungarian and Romanian producer prices. Czech GDP and Hungary’s trade balance.

Nordic Europe: Norwegian retail sales and current account.

Australia, New Zealand and Turkey: Australian quarterly GDP and corporate profits, plus monthly retail sales, trade balance, building permits, and home loans. New Zealand terms of trade, business confidence, and unemployment. Turkish GDP, CPI, and PPI.

Canadian and Brazilian Releases: Canadian quarterly GDP, current account, productivity and unit labor costs as well as monthly building permits, GDP, Ivey-PMI index, and trade balance. Brazilian GDP, industrial production, trade balance and producer prices.
