Central Banks:  Policy meetings are scheduled next week in Mexico, South Korea, Indonesia and Peru.  The Fed Beige Book of regional conditions will be published.  BOJ minutes arrive.  Lockhart, Dudley, Evans, Mester, Brainard and Bullard of the Federal Reserve speak publicly as do Deputy Governors Lowe of the Reserve Bank of Australia and Nakaso of the Bank of Japan.  Bank of Canada Governor Poloz also speaks publicly.

Holidays:  U.S. Columbus Day, Japanese Health Sports Day and Canada Thanksgiving — all on Monday.

Scheduled U.S. Data:  Consumer prices, producer prices, retail sales, industrial production, small business sentiment, the Empire State and Philly Fed manufacturing indices, the Reuters/U. Michigan consumer sentiment index, the JOLTS index of job separations and hires, Treasury-compiled TIC capital flows, the September and fiscal 2015 federal budgets, and weekly chain store sales, jobless insurance claims, mortgage applications, consumer comfort and energy inventories.

Japanese Statistics:  Consumer confidence, corporate goods prices, revised industrial production, capacity usage, machine tool orders, the tertiary index, money growth, bank lending, and the index of leading economic indicators.
