Central Banks: Monetary policies will be reviewed in Indonesia, China, the Philippines, Turkey, Thailand, South Africa and Iceland. Minutes from the most recent reviews will be published by the Federal Reserve and Reserve Bank of Australia.

Events and Holidays: Eurogroup and Euroland finance ministers meetings on Monday and Tuesday. Parliamentary election in Syria on Wednesday. Canada observes Victoria Day, and several countries in Europe will be observing Ascension Day on Thursday.

Scheduled U.S. Economic Statistical Data Releases: Philly Fed manufacturing index, housing starts, building permits, National Association of Home Builders housing index, IHS-compiled purchasing managers surveys, and index of leading economic indicators. Weekly jobless insurance claims, chain store sales, mortgage applications, consumer comfort, and energy inventories.

Members of the Euro Area: German and French preliminary PMI surveys. German ZEW expectations measure of investor confidence, import prices, new car sales and consumer confidence. Spanish industrial orders and trade balance. Irish and Portuguese producer prices. Greek and Italian current accounts. Portuguese, Austrian and Cypriot consumer prices. Dutch and Belgian consumer confidence. Dutch unemployment and household spending.

Australia and New Zealand: Australian preliminary purchasing managers survey, index of leading economic indicators, and home loans. New Zealand service sector PMI, consumer prices, producer prices, food prices and retail sales.

South Africa and Turkey: South African retail sales and factory output. Turkish consumer confidence.

Canada, Mexico and Brazil: Canadian and Mexican retail sales and wholesale turnover. Canadian CPI and house prices. Brazilian business sentiment index.
