Central Banks: Policy meetings in Mexico, New Zealand, South Africa, Chile, Hungary and the Czech Republic. Many Fed officials have public speaking engagements including Harker, Rosengren, Clarida, Williams, Quarles, Evans, George and Bullard.  ECB President Draghi, Vice President DeGuindos, and Executive Board members Praet and Mersch also will be speaking. So will Ellis and Kent of the Reserve Bank of Australia and  Harada from the Bank of Japan. U.S. Statistical Economic Data Releases Next Week: Quarterly current account and real GDP. Monthly trade deficit, Conference Board consumer sentiment index, U. Michigan/Reuters consumer confidence, new home sales, pending home sales, personal income and spending, PCE price deflator, durable goods gorders, housing starts, building permits, Chicago PMI, Chicago Fed National Activity index, and K.C., Dallas, and Richmond Fed manufacturing surveys. Weekly jobless insurance claims, consumer comfort, energy inventories, mortgage applications, and chain store sales.

Japanese Data Releases: Unemployment, industrial production, retail sales, housing starts, motor vehicle production, corporate service prices, Tokyo CPI, and the all industry index.

Other Selected Asian Releases: Malaysian, Filipino, and Singapore producer prices. Chinese and Indian current accounts. South Korean and Singapore industrial production. Hong Kong and Thai trade balances. Chinese corporate profits and index of leading economic indicators. South Korean retail sales and consumer confidence.

Euroland: Economic sentiment, consumer prices, money growth, and credit expansion.
