Holidays and G7 Events: Queen’s Birthday observed Monday in New Zealand and South Korea’s Memorial Day on Wednesday. Finance ministers and central bank heads from the Group of Seven wrap up their meeting this weekend, and the annual summit of G7 leaders starts on Friday, June 8th. Both meetings are in Canada.

Purchasing Manager Surveys: Manufacturing, private or non-oil surveys for Malaysia, South Africa, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and United Arab Emirates. Construction PMIs for Australia, the U.K., and Germany. Retail surveys for Euroland, Germany, France and Italy. Service sector or non-manufacturing PMIs for the United States, Euroland, Japan, Russia, India, China, Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Ireland, the U.K., and Brazil.

Scheduled U.S. Data Releases: Factory orders, the trade balance, unit labor costs, productivity, the JOLTS survey of job separations and hires, the NFIB index of small business sentiment, the N.Y. regional NAPM index, consumer credit, and weekly jobless insurance claims, consumer comfort, mortgage applications, energy inventories and chain store sales.

Japanese Statistics: The current account, monetary base, bank lending, GDP, real household spending, labor cash earnings, index of leading economic indicators, motor vehicle output, economy watchers index, reserves, and bankruptcies.

Selected Other Asian Data: Thai and Indonesian consumer prices. Thai and Filipino producer prices. South Korean current account and index of leading economic indicators. Chinese reserves, Indonesian retail sales and Filipino trade balance.

Euroland: GDP, labor costs, retail sales, PPI, and Sentix gauge of investor sentiment.

Members of the Euro Area: German orders, industrial production, current account and trade balance. Spanish, French, Greek, Portuguese and Austrian trade balances. Spanish, Irish, French, Greek and Finnish industrial output. French, Austrian, Portuguese and Greek trade balances. Irish, Greek, Cypriot and Dutch consumer prices. Italian retail sales, Cypriot GDP, and Spanish unemployment.

U.K. and Switzerland: British monthly GDP, RICs house price balance index, new car registrations, same-store sales, and Halifax house price index. Swiss unemployment and consumer prices.

Nordic Europe: Icelandic GDP and Danish industrial output. Swedish and Norwegian current accounts.

Eastern Europe: Hungarian and Romanian GDP. Czech, Romanian and Hungarian industrial production. Czech retail sales and Hungarian CPI.

Canada and Australia: Canadian monthly labor force report, housing starts, building permits, Ivey-PMI index, and quarterly capacity usage, productivity and unit labor costs. Australian retail sales, new home sales, GDP, current account and trade balance.

South Africa and Turkey: South African GDP and factory output. Turkish consumer and producer prices.

Mexico and Brazil: Mexican PPI, CPI, industrial production, and consumer confidence. Brazilian industrial output and CPI.
