Scheduled U.S. Statistical Releases: Retail sales, industrial production, consumer prices, the Philly Fed and Empire State manufacturing indices, consumer prices, producer prices, import prices, small business sentiment, the U. Michigan consumer sentiment index, Treasury-compiled capital flows, and weekly measures of consumer comfort, energy inventories, chain store sales, mortgage applications and jobless insurance claims.

Eastern Europe: Romanian and Hungarian industrial production. Romanian and Polish consumer prices. Czech and Polish current accounts. Czech PPI.

Nordic Europe: Danish, Swedish and Icelandic consumer prices. Swedish and Icelandic GDP. Norwegian trade and Danish producer prices.

Japanese and Chinese Data: Japanese producer prices, machinery orders, machine tool orders, revised industrial production, capacity usage, and business sentiment as compiled by the Ministry of Finance. Chinese retail sales, industrial production and fixed asset investment.

Selected other Asian Statistics: Indian consumer prices, wholesale prices, industrial production, and trade balance. Singapore’s trade and retail sales. Filipino current account, Hong Kong industrial output, and South Korean unemployment.

Canada, Mexico and Brazil: Canadian manufacturing sales, orders and inventories. Brazilian retail sales and Mexico’s index of leading economic indicators.

Australia: Jobs growth and unemployment, expected inflation, motor vehicle sales, consumer confidence and business conditions and confidence.

New Zealand and South Africa: New Zealand GDP, current account, food prices, consumer confidence and manufacturing PMI. South African retail sales.
