Central Banks:  Interest rate policy meetings are scheduled in Iceland, Switzerland, Russia, South Korea, New Zealand, the U.K., Peru, and Serbia.  St. Louis Fed President speaks publicly.  So will Kuroda and Sato of the Bank of Japan and Weidmann, Coeure and Liikanen of the ECB.  The ECB will be doing a targeted LTRO.

Meeting:  The Eurogroup will be meeting on Monday.

Scheduled U.S. Data: Retail sales, producer prices, import prices, JOLTS index, NIFB index of small business sentiment, U. Michigan/Reuters consumer sentiment index, monthly federal budget, Fed’s monthly labor cost index and weekly observations for mortgage applications, consumer comfort, new jobless insurance claims, chain store sales and energy inventories.

Great Britain and Switzerland:  U.K. trade balance, construction output, industrial production, monthly GDP, Halifax house price index, RICs house price balance index, same-store sales, shop prices, and CPI expectations.  Swiss unemployment.

Nordic Europe:  Danish CPI and current account.  Norwegian industrial production.  Icelandic GDP and Swedish CPI.

Euroland:  GDP and Sentix index of investor sentiment.

Members of the Eurozone:  German industrial production, current account, trade, labor cost index and consumer prices.  French CPI, current account, and business sentiment.  Italian, French, Finnish, Greek and Dutch industrial output.  Dutch, Irish, and Portuguese consumer prices.  Irish current account and Spain’s index of leading economic indicators.

Japan:  GDP, current account, money and bank lending growth, corporate goods prices, economy watchers index, machinery orders, machine tool orders, reserves, index of leading economic indicators, and Ministry of Finance’s quarterly index of business sentiment.

China:  CPI, PPI, fixed asset investment, retail sales, industrial production, money and bank lending growth, and trade.

Selected other Asian Data:  Malaysian and Indian industrial production.  South Korea’s index of leading economic indicators.

Australia and New Zealand:  Australian construction PMI, business confidence and conditions, unemployment and jobs growth, consumer confidence, and mortgage lending.  New Zealand manufacturing PMI, consumer confidence and food prices.

Turkey and South Africa:  Turkish and South African industrial production.  Turkish GDP and current account.  South African CPI and retail sales.

Canada:  Housing starts, building permits, house prices and quarterly capacity utilization.

Latin America:  Brazilian and Mexican consumer prices.  Mexican trade and industrial production.
