Central Banks:  Policy meetings are scheduled at central banks next week in Canada, Brazil, the ECB, Turkey and Hungary.

Scheduled U.S. Data Reports:  Next week’s slate of releases includes housing starts, building permits, the NAHB housing market index, existing home sales, the Chicago Fed’s National Activity index, the K.C. Fed manufacturing index, the Conference Board index of leading economic indicators, Markit Economics’ preliminary purchasing managers survey of manufacturers, and weekly data on jobless insurance claims, mortgage applications, chain store sales, consumer comfort and energy inventories.

Japanese Statistics:  Customs trade, the all industry index, the manufacturing PMI and the index of leading economic indicators.

China:  Quarterly GDP and monthly industrial production, retail sales, fixed asset investment, property prices, and index of leading economic indicators.  Also Caixin’s preliminary manufacturing PMI.

Selected Other Asian releases:  South Korean producer prices and GDP.  India’s index of leading economic indicators and Hong Kong consumer prices.

Euroland:  Construction output, current account, consumer sentiment and preliminary PMI findings of manufacturers and service sectors.

Members of Eurozone:  German PMI and producer prices.  French index of leading economic indictors, business sentiment, and PMI readings.  Spanish unemployment and trade.  Dutch, Italian and Belgian consumer confidence.  Greek and Portuguese current accounts.  Italian retail sales, wages and industrial orders.  Belgian business climate and Portugal’s PPI.

Britain and Switzerland:  British retail sales, public finances, and Rightmove house price index.  Swiss trade and money growth.

Nordic Europe:  Danish retail sales and consumer sentiment.  Icelandic CPI and wages.

Eastern Europe:  Polish industrial output, PPI, retail sales and unemployment.

Australia, Turkey and South Africa:  Aussie and South African indices of leading economic indicators.  South African CPI, retail sales and wholesale turnover.  Turkish consumer confidence.

Canada and Latin America:  Canadian consumer prices, retail sales and wholesale turnover.  Mexican unemployment and Brazilian current account.
