Japanese Holiday:  Markets in Japan will be closed Monday for Marine Day.

Central Banks:  Interest rate policy meetings are scheduled at centrals in New Zealand, South Africa, Hungary and Turkey.  Minutes from a prior meeting will be released by the Bank of England, Bank of Japan and Reserve Bank of Australia. 

Scheduled U.S. Data:  New and existing home sales, the Chicago Fed National Activity Index, the index of leading economic indicators, the FHFA housing price index, the Kansas City Fed manufacturing index, preliminary findings from the July Markit Economics and weekly jobless insurance claims, chain store sales, energy inventories, mortgage applications, and consumer comfort.

Japanese data:  Preliminary manufacturing PMI, all industry index, customs trade balance, and index of leading economic indicators.

Some Other Asian Statistics:  Chinese property prices, manufacturing purchasing managers index, and index of leading economic indicators.  Filipino trade, South Korean consumer confidence and India’s index of leading economic indicators.  Singapore’s PPI, CPI and industrial production.

Canada, Mexico and Brazil:  Canadian retail and wholesale sales.  Brazilian unemployment, current account and consumer sentiment.  Mexican unemployment and retail sales.

Euroland:  Preliminary readings of purchasing managers surveys and consumer confidence.

Members of the Eurozone:  German and French PMIs.  German, Spanish, Irish and Finnish producer prices.  Belgian business sentiment and Dutch consumer confidence.  Greek current account, Portuguese consumer prices, and French business sentiment.  Italian orders wages and retail sales.   Austrian and Portuguese  industrial production. 

Great Britain and Switzerland:  U.K. public finances, retail sales and distributive trades survey.  Swiss trade and money growth.

Nordic Europe and Czech Republic:  Swedish PPI, trade balance and unemployment.  Icelandic wages and Danish consumer confidence.  Czech business sentiment and consumer confidence.

Australia and New Zealand:  Aussie consumer prices and index of leading economic indicators.  New Zealand trade balance.

Turkey and South Africa:  Turkish consumer sentiment and South African CPI.
